Course Description: Intelligence and Information Gathering
This course offers a comprehensive examination of intelligence and information gathering as critical components of strategic decision-making. It explores the structures, processes, and methodologies used to collect, evaluate, analyze, and disseminate intelligence across governmental, military, law enforcement, and private-sector environments. Emphasis is placed on the intelligence cycle; collection disciplines including open-source, human, signals, and cyber intelligence; analytical frameworks; and threat and risk assessment.
