Mohamed Hersi Farah is a Somali chemist, researcher, author, and educator specializing in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Applied and Industrial Chemistry from the International University of Africa.
His academic interests include analytical chemistry, spectroscopic and chromatographic methods, quality assurance, forensic chemistry, toxicology, and scientific research methodology. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in forensic science, quality control, project management, and higher education. He served as a Chemistry Technical Officer at the Bureau of Forensic Science in Puntland, Somalia, where he conducted forensic chemistry and toxicological analyses.
Since 2020, Mohamed Hersi Farah has been a lecturer at Somalism Online Academy, teaching chemistry and biology courses to students from diverse backgrounds. He is also an author and editor for Somalism.so Magazine, where he has published numerous scientific articles aimed at promoting science education and public understanding of scientific concepts.
He is the author of the book "Basic Chemistry" (First Edition), published by Lulu Press, Inc., United States, in 2019.
Mohamed has participated in various international conferences, workshops, and professional training programs in chemical sciences, project management, scientific research, and emerging technologies. He is a member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) and an international regular member of the Chinese Chemical Society.
